Hi Nat,
Congrats ! Wonderful work for wonderful sound !
Just two questions of mine 😉 :
What kind of damping material (the silver square-tiled sheet) did you put under your transformer ? Is it efficient ?
And also, what are the blocks under the feet of your preamp ? Kind of sponge tweaks that can be found on TNTAudio ? (your rack reminds me of something 😉 ).
Congrats again.

he CheffDeGaar,
the damping material under the trafo is a kind of "bitume" with a sheet of aluminium plate wich I find in a edil store. The damping factor is GREAT! 🙂
Yes, the blocks under the feet of the preamp is a kind of sponge for "pedicure" pourpouse😀 😀 like the tweaks that can be found on TNT Audio.
Sorry for my english...

Thanks Nat. That's what I thought. Will try to try 😉 these "bitume" sheets. Seems to me I've seen some in hardware stores.
Thanks, and bravissimo 🙂

Schematic and PCB Plans
Dear Nat,
Do you still have the schematic plan of the Aleph 60, and any drawings of the Printed Circuit Boards you used?
Regards,
George

Hello George,
you can find the schematic of the Aleph 60 is on the www.passlabs.com.
For the pcb I have buy it from Kristjian.

Unfortunately not ..
Dear Nat,
You are right! It is there. The Aleph 30 schematic has been removed, but someone has helped me out with that.
Regards,
GB

Power Supply; PCB
Dear Nat,
I am just about to order parts for my Aleph 60. I have been reading hard and planning hard and it is now TIME!
1. Do you have a schematic for your current power supply. I have NOT as yet finalized my thoughts on this. I was going to just do it straight off Nelson's schematic, but it appears you have souped things up a bit.
2. What AC secondary voltage did you choose for the transformers?
3. Which PCB design did you choose?
It sounds as if you are VERY happy with your results, and I would like to get as much bang for the buck (or bang for time spent) on my little project.
Regards,
George.

Hello George,
yes, I'm very happy with my Aleph60, I'm working around the power supply, in my opinion the changes are very impressive.
The AC secondary is 2 * 25V 10 A (500 VA) for each monoblock;
The PCB are from Kristijan of PCB Design. Look around the forum for more details.
The Power supply is very simple. There are two bridges, one for the plus side and one for the minus side, followed by a CLC filter make with a 47000 uF, a 2,5 mH 10A Hammond choke and another 47000 uF capacitor.
If you want some other info feel free to ask me.
Sorry for my pathetic english.
Nat Riscica 😀

Dear Nat,
To me it appears you have:
a) an excellent amplifier;
b) an excellent answer to my questions;
c) an excellent way with your English.
Regards and thanks,
George.

I am interested in built Aleph 60 myself.
Is it alrite to built the amplifier as it is by using the suggested component values. Should I do that, what are the assumptions that I had made?
Thanks in advance........

Hi Ciccio,
give me the time to collect the info you need and I send it to you with mail.
No, I haven't implemented other changes.
The Aleph's 60 plays wonderful.
The Aleph P have adding the difference...
Thanks again Mr. Pass!!!
Nat
P.S. The Klipsch Cornowall (first version) are a very simply load for any kind of amplifier. With the Aleph are fantastic!

Hi Nat,
Could you tell me the value of R19 and R21?
I download schematic from Pass web.
But I can't understand the value of R19 and R2?
