I love what you've done with the LED's - could you post some more pictures or some words that describe how you got that effect? And how does it look in total darkness? I'm guessing that the nice defused light isn't too distracting?
Cheers,
Mark 😉
The effect is by blocking light direct passage reflecting the light using bend aluminum plate 3 blue LED’s on the right and left under the EMI filters powered separate power supply.
Actually upon powering up the amp it will glow red color and once it’s thoroughly warmed up >50 Celsius it will turn blue. All using thermo switch for cut OFF or turns ON the LED’s.
It’s almost the same as the 2nd last picture at total darkness.
I’ll post more picture once I make some modification on the faceplate.

You have a big heatsink with the fins pointing downward and the fets above it? Isn't the heat building up between the fins and the case?
But it looks great.
But it looks great.
Hi, xenofex
This is an extremely good-looking amp.
I like the look and the details very much.
Tell us some more about that beautiful power supply.
And of course...something about the sound.

I did place the fin pointing up just like this
http://www.sstage.com/noisy11.htm not much difference in the temperature, but by placing in current position I can use the heatsink as EMI shielding from the X'former .
advice from nelson 10 way to improve Aleph: place the PCB's as far as posible away from the X'former ( 2 foot )
Netlist ,
Construction :
Toroid 2 X 500 VA, Filter Cap 316,000uF, Inductor value unknown, 2 x 20 amp EMI filter, PCB from http://web.vip.hr/pcb-design.vip/index.html
The chassis I have them made by vendor ( close friend ) cost only about $US 50 ( labour work for his employee ) excluding the heatsink and metal parts.
Sound :
Actually the high and mid aren't as sweet as the production one, but major improvement each day possible because haven't fully broken it yet, just run it for about 30 hours. So currently I'd rated at 70 - 80 % since this is my 1st DIY amp. Anyhow got better bass control driving my current speakers due to higher power.
