Cool, glad to hear it... I'll just buy the triplet lense, and the 12.2"x12.2" fresnel along with my HQI kit from DIYlabs at the same time. Hopefully I can clean the optics a good bit. I'm also going to try cutting up the top of the stage to get the fresnel in there. Since i'm in Iraq right now, there's not a whole lot I can do other than planning right now. However, once I get back, it's going to be project #1. I'll be sure to post pics step by step. 🙂

Negative good guess on the lcd But Nope Its just My old Powerview 820. I was thinking of buying a lcd monitor But then I thought maybe I will wait till the end of the year and see if prices go down and if contrast still goes up. The Powerview panel is so nice you canswitch from Video to Computer and freeze the picture and the remote is a freakin handy tool. Granted not as good as My commercial projector but hey for my room its a good thing. I guess tho the VGA to video converters susually come with a remote so that would work out well too. I drag my panel to friends houses tho. thats one thing panel will always have lcd monitors beat is portability, then again in 5 years we all will probbably have plasma walls and 1 million to 1 contrast ratio projectors for 300.00 and DIY will be all but dead. Remember how Much dvd recorders cost a few years ago? 2000 plus easy. and now they are 300 or so.

Sidenote My 410 fxl bulb blew finally so I experamented with using that reflector in my other OHP and it was actually worse then the origonal reflector for the dys bulb. Im thinking that I need a concave mirror thats 4 or so inches across, now someone posted that type of mirror at einstinens emporium( BTW great site) But the concave mirrors dont say if they are front surface or not, Would that make a Major difference in how much light is reflected?
