Multi-turn potentiometer backlash?

Does anybody know what the typical backlash expected from a commodity multi-turn trimpot (sealed box style ones) are?

I hadn't noticed it previously but I most recently built some power amps half which have 20 turn trimmers and the other 25 trimmers, of different brands, but same overall value and in cermet.

But the 25 turn trimmers seem to have a much greater backlash 'jump' than the 20 turn units, which turns up as the sudden change in set-point when adjusted in a counter direction to the previous adjustment.

Looking at the data-sheets, this behaviour is not rated - or maybe I have missed it?

Circuit wise this behaviour is not a big deal (they are set and that's it after all, as long as they don't wander), it is just a bit of a nuisance during experimentation.
