Hi all! I am looking for a PC based solution for a music server that can ideally do the following:
1 - Spotify Connect
2 - can split up a 7.1 sound card into a mix of mini and stereo zones
3 - can support 16 zones (so potentially four sound cards)
4 - REW based parametric EQ correction
5 - pager interrupts for doorchime mp3 of choice or other announcements
I plan on building the pc from scratch and I am not opposed to paid solutions.
Sonos, Bluesound and Heos all lack parametric EQ.
Roon doesn't have Spotify Connect since they want you to use their interface.
Max2Play may work. Daphile? Pulseaudio and some other Devils brew? J River?
