I'm looking for suggestions for a budget friendly, but high performance preamp (tube or SS) for my system.
My speakers will be close to 90db efficient, and will be powered by gainclone amplifiers. The crossovers will be active via a Behringer DCX2496 unit.
The Behringer has balanced XLR inputs, so balanced outs on the preamp would be nice.
I'd like to find a DIY kit or prebuilt board (or heck, even a quality already built piece) that can accomodate several inputs, including a phono input.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
