110f are all I've seen SSD problems with.Would like to, but not easy to get in germany. Q-sys is not that common and if: expensive
You wrote about the SSD- problem: ist this on all units a possible problem or just the 110?
Hey, the $1300 510i i'm using, i got from ebay England. Waited/watched patiently a good while to nab that one....
But back to my measurements: what do you think about it?
They look right to me. That's a long path between CD and mids, huh?
Kinda cool there's no cancellation notch to contend with.
How does it sound after processing?
Do you have a link? Can not find it ;(Hi Christian
I think there is a Q-sys 510i for sale right now on Ebay from UK for 1000 pounds! It has a Dante card and 4 output-cards with 4 channels each.
Steffen
Here ya go https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266484399113?hash=item3e0bb53c09:g:fNoAAOSwjPdlCvt9&amdata=enc:AQAIAAAAwN1R+TvYJWua/NJdL0b4IvOIUB/hdJIYLtXiJZyMyI+nvEJqS7V3L8a16sB5WrH3DIGXHBPdL21NPTMUuw9CBm89vScw4gCyqrpoFawHv84Edje6bPD5KPeBd8Dz3M+Ed7rX1OojVlolNni6fN9J5b5Xp6j+oQ8veP7Ee/zB6TqZywh7rTsVlQ/u2ZLLaLsSHdqYPDm+pUcBJQOPfNO5XUyX2R8/sOQHAgws19HCfqaOgBspVdhI98elbiy1a/CHHw==|tkp:Bk9SR-Cvw4z0YgDo you have a link? Can not find it ;(
edit: if you go for it, ask to see a display screen past the QSC Systems startup logo....
if a Core 100f couldn't get past that screen, it was a sign of SSD failure

Hi Christian
I think Mark has linked to the same unit i found on Ebay.de by writing "q-sys 510i" in the seach field. I just searched again and it was the first hit:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/26648439911...L5ZWCu8yPqZeKqM7/t6AE5crJY|tkp:Bk9SR6i9l470Yg
Good luck

Do try to get a screen past the startup logo...never heard of a problem on anything other than 110f's, but after all my ballyhooing up q-sys,
I'd feel terrible if you bought one in need of repair.
If it is a go possibility....here's a little incentive i hope..
This is the schematic for a pair of 5-way syn11's on top of dual 18" subs..
With 12 channels of 16k taps per channel.
Here's same thing, but showing 510i's capacity utilization.
Last the remote I'm using. You can put anything in the remote,..... that go onto windows laptops or any OS device I think.
The faders control levels on individual driver sections. The buttons LA1-7 are presets for the faders, you can make and change at will.
The subcart buttons set the low-pass filter on the dual 18" subs, the syn11 buttons set the high-pass on it's 18" drivers.
The coolest thing I think, is the set of Flat, FirD, HC1, and HC2 buttons...they change all sections FIR filters on the fly without audible hitch or glitch, for various degrees of downward tilt house curves.
Hey, you turned me on to Crosslite...only fair I return the favor with something !
I could use a fellow q-sys user/correspondent.
As Steffen said, good luck !

Hi Christian
Really exiting if you get that unit.
Maybe you will have to invite your girlfriend/wife to a romantic weekend-trip to southern England!?

Hi Steffen
No, I didn‘t get it. Won‘t ship international.
New plan is, going back to a pc based system. This is way more flexible because i. An choose the filter length complete by myself.
Won’t correct frequency response by linearphase fir, just IIR or minimalphase fir, but will do the complete crossover by linearphase fir.

A little update regarding DSP:
I tried to get camillaDSP running… not that easy. Lot of Python and terminal work. And so I looked around and found HangLoose Convolver and GigPerformer. Both AU/VST hosts.
I like the concept. Will test both on the weekend
