I was amazed to see the enormous variation in price at different online vendors of this reprinted Mullard book that was originally published in 1959 - from US$ 17 to US$ 58!
I didn't especially want to buy it, I was just interested because I used to own a copy of the original in the early 1960s.

Parts Express has that book for less than $20 too... if anyone is charging more for that... well... they can. But you shouldn't get it from them.
I've got similiar details of Mullard Circuits but modified by Philips (Rodenhuis) dated 1960. Obviously due to the popularity around at the time, everyone corporate was printing them. The Philips 20W amp which also uses the same tubes has a very similiar circuit. The major difference is the output tranny spec.

The old Mullard tube circuits book was last printed in the 60's ? Does anyone have rights to this book today or can it be scanned and put up on the web or shared by request ? There are several old copies around.

I also have the book in not too bad a condition. However the text and graphs in that URL is much better. My copy was locally printed ( in the 60's ) and print quality leaves lots to be desired.

Old Colony Books/AudioXpress reprinted Mullard's "Tube (Valve) Circuits for Audio Amplifiers" a good many years ago, and still sells it here: http://www.audioxpress.com/bksprods/products/bkaa27.htm

I would assume that most copies presently available for sale here in the USA originally came from this source or are older originals.
These by the way are excellent quality reprints.
I am not sure of the current copyright status of these works given that they have been republished and would recommend purchasing these works from this source rather than downloading someone elses potentially poor quality scan. Even if they are in the public domain [likely] I rather suspect they can use the money, and as they publish the last remaining diy hifi magazine in the USA on what appears to be a shoe string budget this could be a worthwhile gesture of support.
