i know very little about these amplifiers, other than what i read in the tutorial, that they are different.
here is the drive signal. The problem is no audio, current draw is not even registering on my power supply's gauge.
This is the drive wave on the pads.

One of the mspa56 transistors was failing intermittently. when i first tested regulated was present +-15vdc then just now it was missing?
So i replaced it and it is now drawing current at idle., but i has the 45vdc on the speaker terminal. i pulled both outputs and tested them both were good.

The resistor is likely to be about 100 ohms but a 1k shouldn't burn.
Do you get a drive signal on the output gates when you have no outputs in the circuit?

it appears someone attempted or worked on this amp before. can u confirm

q5 msps06

Someone may have that information. I do not. I'm having to look at the photos and compare to the information I have. This is a 'type 2' amp. There are diagrams on that page that should be close enough to tell you what the transistors are.
Good day,
In the amplifier that I have in my workbench u401 tl072
u201 lm311
r413 681 ohm
Q4 and Q5 do you mean q405 and q 404?
