Does anyone have some good quality pictures of an MTX Thunder 280 or similar amplifier? Specifically the power supply section. The gate resistors were very badly burnt. I managed to measure one at 22 ohms but I’m not sure if that’s correct. Burnt beyond recognition. Thank you.
Perry,
There are only two fets in the supply. Originals were IRFZ44 and I plan to replace with IRFZ44N. I am assuming that shorted outputs(BUZ11) took out the power supply. I can get pics of the board tomorrow.

The resistors are not as critical as they are in other amps (due to the type of drive). A LOT of MTX amps using 2-4 FETs used 61.9 or 62 ohm resistors.
I appreciate the reply Perry.
I do not have either of those values on hand. I can get them if need be but would something like a 47 ohm resistor work ok in this situation given the different type of drive circuit?
