I recieved this amp a few days ago and it has a strange problem with one of the channels. when i tried to run it i a bridge mode, it reported distortion at 10V rms via o-scope, in stereo mode, one channel has 18V rms, and the second one has 8.9V rms before it starts to distort badly. All this was tested on 4 ohm subwoofer. I took it to my repair guy, but he is unable to detect what's wrong. Can somebody help me with this? He told me that he checked all transistors and capacitors and everything seems ok, but the resistors cannot check because he does not know their values. Is there any schematic for this amp?
You'll set the bias by adjusting the bias pots and watching the idle current. The following demo shows you what to expect when adjusting the bias.
