When i got this amp it had 2 blown power supply fets and 1 bad output..
Replaced both power supply fets and both outputs..
With just power and ground hooked up no remote the green power light is on .. As soon as i apply remote voltage the amps red light comes on so im assuming its going into protection mode..
And ideas on what to look at in this amp since its power light is comming on with just power and ground hooked up?

Gate resistors, gate drivers if any used on such a small power supply, PWM controller IC possibly damaged when the fet's burnt up maybe. I would need to see a picture of the amp to be of any further help. As its been a while since I worked on one of these, and my memory tells me that MTX used isolation transformers on the gate drives on many of their larger amps, and possibly on this one also.

I think on this amp the red light is power and the green light is protect. Still sounds like you may have an issue.
