By pc simulation I mean something like this WineBottler | Run Windows-based Programs on a Mac Note I don't have a mac so I can't vouch for how well it would work. That may allow you to run something like this http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/software-tools/235549-psd-lite-final-beta.html
However I would like to see some real-world measurements of the vifa driver, the ones in the datasheet are not particularly useful for tracing for simulation by the looks of things.
Tony.

Just out of curiosity I have simulated an existing design from this project at 20vac & 40vac input:
Zaph|Audio - Bargain Aluminum MTM
Interestingly I get not too dissimilar curves in comparison to my design, so it may still be viable?
Zaph's acoustical simulation shows a flat response whereas when I simulate his design in spice its gets "hot" on the woofer region.
Can someone shed a light on the differences? Is it because mine is only electrical simulation and the fact that the box is not simulated at all? Must be...

Hmm I think I've found a way to acoustically simulate the enclosure in spice as well, seems to be working... I think:
North Reading Engineering
See woofer simulated with and without enclosure.
