Okay I have 2 amps that use these for the power supply that need to be replaced. One is a old sony and the other a old kenwood. I put irfz44n in the sony and seems to be working fine on the bench but im afraid to put it under a load bc I cant find datasheets on the MTAJ50N05HD to see the values. The subs also need to be available in a TO-220FP (solid plastic case) bc they bolt directly to the heatsink in both amps, I could modify how these mount if needed but would rather not.
I generally use the IRFIZ48 and have never had a problem with them.

Someone suggested the following (or something very similar) and these should work if the value of the gate resistors was low enough.
