motorized volume control

I've been thinking about converting my counterpoint solid 8's volume control with a motorized unit, but I haven't come across any circuits to do so, (x-mitter and receiver)

Any ideas??

Here's a simple project for a x-mitter and reciever. It's cheap to build too.

If you want a cheap motorized pot. You can check with http://www.allelectronics.com

The sell a DUAL 10K LINEAR TAPER MOTORIZED POT (Alps) for $4!! It can easily be converted to a log pot with two resistors.

there are a few options for motorized pots out there. THe thought even occured to me to use lego gears and motors.. 😉
