Hi, I think the motor on my CJ 55 is dying. I've checked bearings, put on a new belt etc but to no avail. There's monstrous wow now. There always used to be some, but now it is so much worse plus the TT seems to be running slow.
What would be a suitable replacement motor and where could I get one? I think it's a standard synchronous used by many turntables of that era.

Almost impossible to find a drop in replacement.Have you checked the caps and resistors inside the deck?I have the same deck and ended up fitting a DC motor with a shunt DIY supply.
