which currently available class D amp models sounds like the best available analog class A amp, e.g. like Halcro, PassLabs or Thorens TEM3200 ?
I am looking both to commercial products, module versions like ICEpower, Tripath or Hypex UcD and diy projects.
Thank you for advices.

How or where in blazes does the audio signal get into that analogue section ??
From the top, feeding into R605 and R606.
The OP amps are just DC-servos.
Thank you. But Google provides only this thread here.
Mean you one of Sharp's old SM-SX series?

Unfortunately I don't find listening tests on the web both from Sharp and WADIA.
A friend of me is convinced, the approaches for Class-D from diyaudio-member Bruno Putzeys - go to
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/search.php?searchid=9420625
provides the best sonic results. Which commercial products uses those approaches? Maybe Hypex UcD's and Sanyo's ICEPOWER modules?
Thank you for additional informations.

It is a digital PWM(fully digital) amplifier with analog feedback. I think it was great breakthrough in technology and performance.
Recently Denon adopted DDFA in PMA-50 and it is the best seller in japan now.
It looks it is a very good chipset but why such not popular?

Are there advices to find on the web, which companies use class D modules from Hypex, B&O/SANYO (ICEPOWER) and L C Audio Technology ("ZapPulse 800XE") in their amplifiers ?

This?

Why the perennial fascination with D types?
At best they come close to older type Amplifiers. Often/usually they don't. Just curious

Thank you for this advice.
I don't understand this term:
"perennial fascination"
Mean you long-standing fascination?
Indeed, Class-D has fascination to me as long the sound quality is like the best class-A amp brands like passlabs and halcro. But until now I haven't heard such class D amps.
I have heard, that Linn works hard in their development laboratory, to reach this. The results it will be interesting - so I think.
Unfortunately not a wide range of different models and approaches until now.which currently available class D amp models sounds like the best available analog class A amp, e.g. like Halcro, PassLabs or Thorens TEM3200 ?
