Most efficient cam amps

I',m trying to get the most out of my factory alternator and battery. What brand or brands make the most efficient amplifiers? DS18's seem to give good power for the price but if price was not an option what amp could produce more with the same setup?

The efficiency typically follows the type of amp. In general switching amplifiers (class D) are more efficient than non-switching (linear type; class A, class B, class AB) amplifiers.

For non-switching type amplifiers, the amps with lower rail voltage (low power) will typically be more efficient than amplifiers with very high rail voltage.

I settled on DS18 amps because from what I heard locally, they don't clip out in comparison to other amps at the same wattage. I've now found out why. They do not deliver the wattage they claim that's why they seem stable.

So I am now looking to replace the 600.4 amp as it was bought used and two channels are not working. So back to efficiency, would anyone have an idea of which brand/s are most efficient at turning power into wattage?

'Clip out' really isn't a thing.

I don't think you're going to find a brand with amps that are more efficient, across the board, than other brand amps.
Thanks, this is helpful information because I was thinking that companies like Rockford Fosgate would be more efficient because of the amount of R&D behind their amps. They may add bells & whistles, but I guess Class D circuitry is what it is.
