I see a max of 700uH for ohm speaker from internet . You can see the phase shift and detector still works but want to study this more

Yes -- you are right - at 5kHz almost 90 degree shift -- the gating of sensing should done by current crossover and not voltage
and that works better but needs improvement

That waveform looks interesting for guitar. Could you explain roughly how the circuit works? I am not familiar with this kind of circuit, but it makes me curious.

Got it working well --bias stable from zero signal to max.
Works into speaker reactive impedance ( changed gating for bias sense at zero current crossing rather than voltage)
Very clean before clipping (harmonic peaks down 50db for third and second)
Soft clips very much like tube amp
65% efficient at max power
Requires output capacitor since it runs open loop so there a DC offset -- with active feedback that would not be issue
