I've made a couple of small BJT amps in the low power range (15V-30V) and I thinking about doing something similar using MOSFETs in a SF configuration. Physical size is a factor so I'm looking for a TO-220 package. Scanning the usual catalogs (DMgikey, Mouser, etc) it is hard to figure out what would constitute a complimentary pair.
Any suggestions in this regard? Naturally it would be nice if they were readily available.

I would 2nd PMA's suggestion.
My experience with those mosfets tho. is that they are not very stable in anything other than an EF-equivalent set-up.
Other than that, those are great output devices, impossible to blow-up, 🙂.
BTW, those aren't complimentory pairs. The Hitachi pair is but they are expensive.

As millwood said, they are not complimentary. For example, different gate capacitances must be considered during the design.

Thanks for the input. I found SPICE models at the DuncanAmp website, so I will be working with those for a while. At least then I will have some idea what the likelyhood of getting ssomething satisfactory will be.
