These days I would simply advise you to upgrade to a higher power rating fake and hope for the best.

These days I would simply advise you to upgrade to a higher power rating fake and hope for the best.

That would be the case, if the power rating was the only critical spec in the transistor design. Unfortunately, for demanding use the power rating isn't the only significant parameter.
