Hi,
Wifi ON/OFF setting only appears on "Pi-3B 1GB" models. These have an integrated WiFi Bluetooth adapter that can't be removed. To disable WiFi on all other Pi models just pull out the WiFi dongle.

Unfortunately that didn't do it. Of course the log is now minus any wlan0 delay but the DLNA server is still started sometime before it mentions mountall.
it appears if minidlna sees no directories it was configured and indexed for, on start-up, it simply deletes the index/database.
is Moode written in a python or another scripted language?
if so please state what the pertinent file is and perhaps I can just re-order the start sequence or introduce a delay.
thanks.
ps. I'm 150Mb into a multiday download attempt of v3 and am trying to remember the changes/additions I made to the system in order to replicate them. but then again, _if_ this is an ordering sequence/timing issue, nothing has been said about whether such was addressed in v3. the release notes do not suggest so.
I’m really impressed with how Moode is progressing and continue to use it as a UPnP media renderer, interacting with the Linn Kazoo and BubbleDS control points.
This works exceptionally well, though if I select a radio station from Moode, the station’s artwork isn’t displayed in either control point. Similarly, many radio stations that feature on Moode broadcast the name of the radio track currently playing, and whilst this information is displayed in Moode for some reason it isn’t available via my control points. Please, can anyone advise if there’s a quick fix for these issues?
You can add the radio stations into the upmpdcli config and then you can select the radio station from BubbleDS. If moode recognises the station it will display the logo as well.
I wouldn't ask if I hadn't convinced myself there was no option.
I re-produce below the page in question and for the life of me can see nothing related to wlan0 or Wifi or AP mode!
I assumed you had a Pi3 with integrated wifi, because otherwise you would just pull the USB dongle out.
What Pi are you using?
Edit: I see Tim already gave the same answer.

Many thanks Serverbaboon. OK I need to modify upmpdcli.conf by adding, if I get it right, a section entitled '[radio my Radio]' and below this, for each station, have the following:
url = http://some.host/some/path.pls
artUrl = http://some.host/icon/path.png
Does that seem right?

Yes thats right, are you a uk resident or not (BBC 320K support)?
I can post my stations as a starting point.
upmpcli seems to be very picky about case so make sure you are precise.
If you copy the url from the Moode list then there is a good chance the Moode web page will display its icon. This does not seem to work for the BBC streams though.
Note, that this functionality only works with Linn Kazoo and BubbleDS as it is the ohome features.
Since I am in the UK I have BBC 320K streams so my config file looks like the below. If you are outside the uk but still want the bbc then copy the URLs from the moode front end.
If you want others just copy the URLS from the Moode front end, you don't actually need the icon url it will just use a default one but I have managed to track done some for my stations. I did think of trying to link back to the Moode icons but it did not work, probably because of the Android bonjour issues.
(not sure I should be using the icons source 😀 )
I used the Code option but it still seems to have shortened the urls, if you hover the full url is shown (what option should I have used?)

My BubbleDS Radio screen looks like the below

Hi Tim
I have a 128Gb SD card. I want to put my Hi Res music into the folder
/var/lib/mpd/music/sdcard by using WinSCP (login Pi account with raspberry). As soon as I copied the music files, the error message ...permission denied... popup. Any ways I can do that?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
The Library panel uses Genre, Artist and Album tags. If these are not present in the song files the songs will appear under pseudo tag named "Unknown".

Hi,
I'm not familiar with WinSCP but the target folder should be
/mnt/SDCARD
or you can map a drive to the SDCARD samba share using file explorer
z: --> \\moode\SDCARD

Hello Tim
Is it normal that any kind of file i play gives me always 32bit of output stream?
My dac is a Lector Digitube s192 dac with a 32-bit AK4397 DAC chip from Japan's Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM), supported by an AKM AK4113VF digital audio receiver chip.
p.s Is it possible to add this dac to the list in Customize/Audio device description?
Thanks for your great work!!!! it's stunning... great sound

Hi Marco,
MPD, ALSA and USB audio driver negotiate a format with the audio device and in this case I'm guessing that the USB receiver chip wants everything 32 bit word length.
I'll add to my TODO list to enter a description for the DAC in the audio device table.
-Tim
Wow!!! thanks for your quick answer!!
So there are no problems about bit-perfect output...
i set "volume control" disabled and Alsa volume at 100%
It's really faster to boot the last version disabling network discover and hdmi

WinSCP is something like ssh so that I can copy files directly from Windows to /mnt/SDCARD. The problem I am facing is, it doesn't allow me to do so. I guess the reason maybe related to user PI doesn't has the proper right to write files or create directory in Moode system. Am I correct? Do I need the rights of root?
Nice one Serverbaboon - thanks for your earlier post today, sharing your upmpdcli conf radio info. Incidentally, I'm in the UK as well so can also enjoy the 320k BBC streams

Have you tried changing the shell to sudo su - in the advanced properties of the site in winscp.

Big thanks to Tim for keeping up the pace with this Moode development. Great job!
I ran into some problems with DDDAC selected as an I2S Audio device in Moode. I have also the Kali I2S reclocker board in use. The problem was that I got only mono sound with 16bit/44.1kHz flac files. And when I tried to upscale the output to 24bit/44.1kHz in Moode settings the Kali board went crazy with flashing leds and no sound came out. After I switched the I2S Audio device to "generic 2 (raspbpi)" everything worked ok, as with the earlier Moode 2.7. Maybe this problem only occurs with the Kali setup, but I just wanted everyone to be aware of this hick-up. I suppose that the thing with DDDAC is, that it always expects to have 24bit bit depth otherwise mono output.
