Monsoon model ID help, misc questions

Hello,

I just picked up a pair of Monsoon satellites at Goodwill with no model designation and I'm not seeing any matching pics online, most seem to have a detachable stand. I wasn't really sure what they were when I grabbed these, but figured they might be something special based upon my previous experiences with planar magnetic and Electrostatic speakers.

After doing a littl research, I see that the sub (which wasn't present at GW) not only provides bass reinforcement, but also some EQ sound shaping. I hooked them up directly, and although they sounded very thin and small, I was shocked at the amount of planar 'magic' these inexpensive little speakers exhibited. I would very much like to get them going.

Can anyone help identify them? Would any model monsoon sub work with them, or would I need the specific model they came with? Has anyone successfully integrated a non-monsoon sub with a pair of these? Does anyone have a sub for sale by chance?
