I ordered my Aurum Cantus 2si tweeters for my Basszilla. I have gotten more reports that they are superb. Remember though, the cheaper ones need to be crossed over pretty high. Now I'm low on money for the gainclone buy!!

I have heard the vifa ring radiator as well as the Scan Speak. Was not impressed by both of them and personally I think they are highly over priced. Ring radiators just seem to be the newest trend in loudspeakeker manufacturing. Compare them with a decent ribbon like the ESg, Raven or something likely and you will be amazed how much more detail, sweetness, airiness, micro dynamics etc etc you will get. Just my personal opinion.

I'm not sure about the pricing overseas but in Australia, the Vifa Xt25 is actually well priced and is a fraction of the price of both the Scanspeak and the Esg, Ravens etc.
I understand that the ribbons do sound fantastic but if budget is a consideration, and it unfortunately always is to be for me, the
Vifa offers a well detailed, smooth listenable sound.
But this is with the caveat that the off-axis response stinks. So if you do a lot of near field listening, I.e. studio monitoring, this offers good a good value/performance ratio.
