I've been looking at this driver which is relatively new but does not seem to be mentioned much on any web search.
Klang + Ton mention it as being very much like one of their favourite full range drivers.
It does model nicely on WinIsd Pro -3db down into the 40's and goes up to 18khz
Anyone got any experience of it?

No experience, but comparing the published vs K+T measurements makes them unacceptably too far off for me, ideally requiring ~517 L cabs!

Well,
WinIsd pro gives (from Monacor's published specs) 154.89 litres with an Fsc of 43.65 and a Qtc of 0.705
Drop a hundred litres off the box yields 54.89 l with an Fsc of 54.52 and a Qtc of 0.856 which gives a 0.54 peak @ 100.94 Hz
-3db is at 46.66 Hz
40 Hz is -5db and 30Hz is -9.8db
The one issue of concern might be the xmax of 2mm although at 88db/w a couple of watts gets you 91 db at 100Hz.
Where did you get your 517 litre box from?

I always use T/S max flat vented alignments to compare drivers as it highlights any specs disparity. If you use K+T's specs, you can't get a < 0.8 Qtc alignment, so again, for me it's not a manufacturer I would be interested in or recommend unless there was sufficiently accurate 3rd party info and with specs this far off, having just one isn't enough for me.
Regardless, if you consider K+T's specs acceptable for your app, then sure, 'roll the dice' and please let us know if it meets your performance goals.

I just ran the driver specs as given by Monacor through WinIsd Pro. Might have to buy a pair of the drivers and measure the parameters with DATS and see how they compare to the published official specs. and then decide.
Please post them here if you do as I'm curious how they compare to K+T's much worse ones also.

I'll do just that when I can get hold of a pair. I've been told that some might be in stock at a store in the UK in July at some point.
I'm getting to really like full range drivers and if this one can get down as far as alleged then it could be interesting.

Hi,
Gives very meaningless numbers for a 0.6 Qts FR driver
intended for a highish sealed Qbox to give some BSC.
rgds, sreten.

With a high Qt, it will go lower than Fs, but with a 2mm Xmax, probably not very loudly unless properly corner loaded. FWIW, with high Qt drivers I prefer to [ML]TL load them. The cabs are large, but all that acoustic loading helps with the typically low Xmax these types of drivers have plus it damps them enough to audibly reduce its high Q 'ringing' same as a heavily stuffed sealed alignment except with a lot more [mid] bass output.
