Might be easier to build up the horn throat with some epoxy, then file and sand it to a smooth match to the driver, rather than re- working the driver.Just a bit disapointed the 1-3/8"-18 TPI horn i bought will be a mismatch...
You can always remove what you added to the horn, but more difficult to add it back to the driver.
Thanks, good advice. I will try my hand at making horns form acrylic resin. Smartest would be to start out with the "tweeter" horn section for the 3 way i have in mind. Hope to do a "square" biradial vs round tractrix comparison.
The 1 3/8 TPI horn i intended to use is very narrow at the throath. I guestimate it to be a Keele CE / sort of flare. For his type it will be very hard to get the throat smaller and do some sanding to get it to 19mm.
