ModSquad Prism CD player external power supply

Hi I have a question for this group of fellow enthusiasts. I have a ModSquad Prism player, the Magnavox CDB-650 version, and I somehow have lost the external power supply. Was wondering if anyone could please help me with the voltage/amperage and wiring pinout for the mini XLR connection? It’s driving me crazy not knowing where it went and I figured I’d just build my own or find one compatible.

Any assistance would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, do you have a multimeter at hand?
You could trace the wires to components and then check what pins are connected. It can then be determined if it is a negative, ground or positive connection. Then it is to find out what voltages to expect on these pins depending what components are connected.
Is this something you could do?

Best regards,
Frank

Hi Frank, thanks for the response. I was going to pick up a variable DC power supply and see what I could reverse engineer, but was hoping to find someone else with the same model cd player and external power supply so I could just verify. Here is a photo of the board, I will open it back up later to take proper complete photos.

The power input cable is the black multi conductor cable attached via the white connector to the left of those small red caps in the top left quadrant of the photo. I’m assuming the voltage shouldn’t be anymore than 32V, referencing the adjacent caps, but I’m not sure.
