Mods for DCX 2496,digitalinput/clock

Hi There

4 weeks ago I bought a DCX 2496 and a kit to improve the digital input and clock(from selectronic) and I am very pleased with it.
Last week I bought another DCX 2496 and the new digital input/clock mod ,for my girlfriend, after opening the new unit I saw that ther were changes made, it has now a different(bit bigger) analog-out board in it, and after having removed the old 8420 chip ,I noticed a different pin layout, I thought hmmm lets see what happens, so I put the wiring in like on the old DCX, but then when powering on, the first LED-array comes fully lit and the unit won't start up any futher, so now I am stuck, having spent a lot of money and not having any sound....
Does anyone know how to wire this new DCX up so it will work with the kit?

This error is typically for a missing clock signal to the DSP and/or the front panel controller.
How much is this unit different? Do you have any pictures?

If it is a matter of replacing the CS8420, you can use the Frank Oettel clock/receiver mod which should be independent of the DCX.
Pilgham Audio sells both the Oettle mod as well as my output replacement level control/remote board.

Replacing digitalinput/clock on new model DCX2496

Hallo Jan

Had je al gemaild, heb dat ook al geprobeerd, direct een verbinding met de bandkabel naar het display-board, zelfde resultaat, alleen eerste LED rij licht op.
In de oude unit ging de clocksource en control pin 9,waar nu de selectronic ook aangesloten wordt, alleen naar het display-board via die vlakband kabel, bij die nieuwe DCX gaat die pin 9 naar een IC op het DSP board.
Proberen ze bij Behringer die dingen "tamperproof" te maken of zo?
Deze Behringer heeft software 117, kan dat ook invloed hebben, mijn oudere unit heeft 116.
