I want to to make the talkover release function faster on my AC-6 DJ mixer, to make it act as a sidechain pump effect on everything running thru the mixer, by feeding a kickdrum to the mic "duck" chan.
The original release time is 0.5 sec at minimum setting, much to slow to make the pumping effect occur. it needs to go down to the 20-30 millisec range at the very least.
Is this achievable by just changing a couple of resistors/pots/caps or is it a more complex operation?
