I got this Creative ZIISOUND DSX wireless subwoofer very cheap, not much info on this but I wanted to mod it with a RCA cable, I can see that it must digitally receive input as there is a 7 channel prcoessor however I want to bypass all this and just use analog mono input from a typical subwoofer out, any ideas where I should start?

maybe if you remove the heatsink you can see what amp IC is used and look up the pinout in its datasheet and see if the pcb tracks are for analogue input pins to amp. However amp could be a digital input type, see datasheet to know.
i guess audio is transmitted digitally.
other wise i would replace the amp board with a tpa3116/8 subwoofer amp board.

Definitely the way to go. Use the existing AC line cord and install a power supply
and TPA3116 board. Success this way is much more likely, and is still cheap.
