Yes. That would work fine. However, all you need to really do is match your outputs and you should have improved sound quality. You would have a much wider linear range for the output section.
If I get a "dead" Cyrus II in that I can keep, I'll try it. I might try this if I can get boards made from the Cyrus amp remake effort too.
