Hi Guys,
I would like to know a little more about this speaker as there is not much info on the net.
I want to clone this speaker using the cheap https://www.parts-express.com/6-1-2-poly-cone-midbass-woofer-4-ohm--299-609.
Does anyome perhaps know what the crossover pointa were to the servo subs and neo ribbon?
I will build an Apogee style midrange tweeter ribbon like the Duetta to xo to the cheapo drivers.
I know others that have used these cheap midbass drivers have all given them a great review for OB use. I would like to xo at around 500hz but then go with sealed subs can anyone suggest a nice sub driver that will work well in a sealed enclosure? How high would I need to go on the subs?
I am also going to build the same Duetta ribbon to pair with a pair Tympani lllb panels bass and misbass so 2 Maggie Tympani panels per side.
I think this is going to be an interesting battle between these 2 types of speakers yes I am in need of big power on the Maggies for the bass midbass panels.
Cheers Brian
