Thus far, I have been unable to find a replacement for an MN3004 bucket brigade device. Does anyone out there in digital land know where I might find one? Help!

Try out these guys. They're here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. They don't have this part listed on their website, but they have the companion MN3101 listed. Send them an email.

Edit:
I just realized you are the same guy who asked this a while ago, so sorry for the repeat information. Did you have any luck?(with the 3101, at least?)

I was actually looking for these 2 parts myself. I see the place I gave you a link to has a minimum order of $30can. I sent them an email, and if they have both parts, I wouldn't mind picking up an MN3004 for you. The shipping and part should only be a few dollars each. I asked them about stock and prices. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.
neither are in stock
😡 I just got an email back. They don't have either in stock. It's a obsolete part, so I doubt they will get any more. Those bastards need to update their website...

Digikey (digikey.com) has a few types of the Panasonic bucket brigade devices:
MN3003 - dual 64 stage device (low voltage)
MN3011 - 3328 stage tapped device
MN3209 - 256 stage low voltage device
If you are designing something you might want to adapt one of these

I realize I'm replying to a post that's 7 years old, but I did find a source. Go to www.utsource.net. I just ordered 10 MN3204 (the low voltage variant of your MN3004) for $5 each. They are fine with low quantities, even one or two. Shipping is reasonable, too.
I'm currently waiting for mine to arrive, fingers crossed that the parts are legit and work well!
