That is correct, with the capacitor between the gate and source the signal remained square, but ill double check, i will also try to trace that pin.I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that you had no difference on the gate pad with the 0.1uf capacitor connected across the gate/source?
I don't know why pin 10 is being driven high. You may have to follow the circuit back to see what's driving that pin.
So i tested again and the signals do seem to be the same:
Without cap:
P4
P11
P14
With cap:
P4
P11
P14
Now to some tracing...
P10 led to that small smd capacitor and to that NPN N4401 Transistor. My LCR meter detects the smd capacitor at 321.31 Ohms ESR as pictured, the capacitors around it had maybe 3 Ohms at most, i believe this is bad right? I also took out the transistor and tested it, tested good. Unfortunately, the transistors leads to a bunch of through-hole connections that spread throughout the board quickly. Im still trying to form a plan about it.
ESR
Capacitance
I did test a random smd cap by the PS FET bamk for its ESR and tested at 105K? weird, bad cap as well perhaps?

Lcr pro1 plus is a nice tool as well, have one at work. Idk that I'd trust it completely measuring parts in circuit though..
Very true, I spent an hr looking for the darn thing as its so small, but thank goodness i found it. You're right best practice is to be off-circuit. Ill test again off circuit.Lcr pro1 plus is a nice tool as well, have one at work. Idk that I'd trust it completely measuring parts in circuit though..
Which one is that one, the smd capacitor thats on pin 10? I tried measuring that one but i don't get anything from either side. What's the wavform on the gate pad/leg of loading capacitor?

Where you have the scope probe above but you have to install the two missing resistors.
