ML Request- need to know

Hi folks,

I would like to know two things about ML Request:

The panel; is it glued together on all 4 sides, or only top and botton (like sequel panels)?
And the woofer; what brand and model is used?

Hi,

unfortunately no reply yet...

Reason I ask is:

Sometimes the coating lasts a long time, but the point were the copper- or alu strip connects the membrane fails.
I experienced this with my ML Sequel; the cure was to lift the panel-halves at the side and apply a little bit of coating (school glue, water and black ink) an the strip and the mylar.
If the panel is glued on all 4 sides, this is not possible.
With my sequel this procedure was succesful.

I plan to purchase a pair of ReQuests, but will not be able to listen to them prior buying.
They are 9 years old.

So, somebody knows about the ReQuest panels?
