MKll TA2024 amp modding

I got these amp boards for multi channel(8) sound project.

While these sound pretty good I was going to apply some simple mod to them seen on

Sadly that site is no more. I found just a picture o flickr

I wonder if someone could explain what this mod was about.

looks like better input coupling caps, volume pot, power switch, and a power buffer stage.

signal series caps (red in the base version) vs some jantzen-caps.
2 low esr-elcaps parallel to the power input.

switch and poti wont be explained here 😉
