They are same family so choosing to stock only highest vceo should be enough...
Do I missed another parameter ?
have a nice day.

Pretty sure they are not the same family. 28/29/30/31 is one family, 32/33 is another - the datasheets are different.
In order of increasing robustness/SOA at 50V: MJE15030 - 0.4A, MJE15032 - 1.0A, MJW3281 - 4A (the latter being an output device rather than driver for comparison)
But yes the MJE15032/33 are superior in every way I think to the 28/29/30/31

Thanks David & Mark
To resume, 15030 may have a better HFE but 15032 is a best choice for SOA.
MJE15032/33 will join TIP41C/42C, bd139/140 & MJE340/350 in my drivers box.
Any more comments on MJE series or "classical" must-have devices to add in drivers box ?

Surprised about this one but knowing your quality of advices, there are certainly good argurments ?Only the hitachi MOSFET drivers, 2SD756A/2SB716A
Yet still another device family. Lower current higher voltage. Quite useful for EF3’s (and VAS’s) running of ‘stupid high’ voltages.

They have a rare combination of high gain and high voltage and very high bandwidth. Gains upto 800, 120 or 140V, 350MHz/150MHz (NPN/PNP). And 0.75W dissipation.
Sounds like the kind of transistor that gets discontinued.
Also sound good for driver/level shift duty in class D stages. As long as you can still get them.

good but nowadays, hard to reliably find ...
like many other great parts from the past ...

I've seen a few counterfeits, be warned... They are easy to tell as the gain is nothing like what it should be.
