Hi Fab
Your plan may acomplish the same thing just with a few more parts, I have a fetish with J-fets. I think they are absolutly wonderful. If I can use them, I do.🙂 Not everyone is as fond of J-fets, but IMO, it's thier loss.😛 But, that's what makes DIY so interesting, to each his own. Anyway, good luck.

Add Mosfet vs C.D.
Hi
Since I intended to try a (C.D.) Current Displacer (ref: http://www.tubecad.com/2006/12/blog0088.htm )
I need your comments on the following schematics where there are some possibilities (PCB with provisions):
1) Have the C.D. (purple line) and the Mosfet M8 mounted (red line). This way all mosfet share the same bias current (negative and positive)
2) Only the C.D. (purple line) as advertised by http://passlabs.com/pdf/articles/leaving_class_a.pdf and not M8.
3) Mount M8 and also M7 the same way as M5, M3, M1. This way is the usual normal way.
What do you think?
Thanks

Is there anybody home?
Am I the only one except Pass, Self and Broskie to use a current displacer or what?
Thanks
