Mix brand upgrade on 2 way comp set, need help please...

Hi...
I have limited knowledge in car audio and a bit confuse with my setup.
Currently I use a/d/s 320is 2 way comp set for my front, the sound is great. I also have a pair of Vifa tweeter XT25TG30-04 unused. I am thinking to get upgrade only on tweeter by replacing the a/d/s tweeter with the Vifa.

Will I get better sound quality with this mix brand upgrade ?
If yes, what XO design should I use ? I need the value of the LCR components as well.

Any advise are welcome

You have to build a crossover and try different values to get the prefreable sound fro you , or use an electronic x over and biamp the system . It may be more trouble than it is worth.

How about the combination of the driver, is it good to have Vifa twe + a/d/s mid or should I stay with the a/d/s (mid+twe) ?

What a good initial value of LCR (2nd order) for the Vifa ? I will start with that value then fine tune them.

I am not thinking to go with active xo because I only have 1 amp (4x75W)

if it sounds great why bother

2) I would not mix them , the only way I would even consider it is if the ADS was a metal dome tweeter and I could not tame it and could not stand it , I would consider a softdome.

You could use the vifa but it will take a lot of work to get it to sound right. You cannot just replace one with the other.

If you really want to use it you will probebly want to switch to a fully active setup so you can tune the car better and not have to do a lot of quess and check with passive crossovers.
