Mitsubishi XD221U remote missing can i use universal remote

hi all

I have just purchased a Mitsubishi xd221u projector (very cheap)
it works perfectly and i am made up with it
no remote with it though so i cant access settings etc
i have found remotes for sale but in america
i was wondering if anybody knows if there is a universal remote that works with this
