Anyone know if this is suitable for projection? I know nec makes good projection screens and was hoping mitsubishi's are along the same lines. The specs are good 450:1 cr, 25ms response time, analog and digital input. It can be had for around $230 after rebate and coupon.
Mitsubishi were developing FFD (feedforward driving) to improve response times for motion video since 2001 but haven't come with other products than an LCD TV (18 MX2). I think you better get the NEC1560M ( NEC1560VM in Europe). Let's hope it's easy to dismantle..
Dough, try it, remember all projection panels are 30 MS responce time and I cant for the life of me see blur with them( maybe thats just me) so im thinking 25 ms would be great.
I know the specs are good but am concerned with the controller board, If It can be moved out of the way or not.
