Found a pair on the street corner with a "free" sign on them.
The internet was (nearly) useless for any info .
The box's were in mint condition with 1" MDF front/back- 3/4" sides , looks like a real quality build (better than standard OEM- sony/fisher).
All the drivers worked at normal volumes (they sounded Real nice) , my problems started with a little more power from my 100W amp.
One cone went out all the way and became "stuck" and the other "buzzed"
(warped /overheated VC - pix 1). I was amazed at the cheap quality of the woofer (pix 2) , 25mm VC + anemic non -vented POS ! 125W RMS.. my butt !
The tweeters look to be Vifa -DX25TG09 , and work well. The Xover is a "real" one (pix3). I would love to know the values for an upgrade but the inductors are not marked and the caps are glued tight , resistors are 1 ohm/7W.
I went ahead and bought some :
MCM Audio Select 8" Woofer with Poly Cone and Rubber Surround 70W RMS at 8ohm | 55-2971 (552971) | MCM Audio Select
generic 8" drivers.
So cheap ?? Can they be good ?? I put them in .. and WOW!! , they sound like the originals and can handle even the full output of my badger amp ! The cutout hole was a perfect 7.17", but the flange was not the same (last pix - solution).
They (the MCM's) have the same really detailed midrange that the "made in denmark" originals had. The only difference is that the MCM's have a larger magnet/VC (35mm+) ... and a real pole vent.
I really took a wild guess at the TS parameters in selecting the MCM's for
the boxes -

....internal - 22cm x 22cm x 72cm
.... = 34.85L ??
....port 10cm width /10cm length
They seem to really sensitive to 45-50 hz on my parametric EQ , blowing "puffs" of air across the room at high volumes . Might that be where they are tuned ? I am happy with them , but would really appreciate any additional info on the Xovers - TS specs of the original drivers.
