I pulled apart my lcd today, and the side with faces you when you have the lcd together, was the foggy ag film, I already removed, but the other side has a mirror finish film. It is almost completely reflective. Is that another ag film that I can remove, or is that the polarizer? Thanks
Whatever that is, I would think twice before removing that, since backlight was able to pass through before the LCD was striped, maybe your result will be good even without removing it. You could try it out first before you decide. For your reference, mine looks the same from either side. I know I didn't help much, but..... just my 2 cents.
I was thinking the same thing. i took off a small corner, and put the halide and lens to it, and it seemed about the same. Maybe alittle more clear, but about the same brightness. i think I will leave it for now.
