I'm new around here & I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction?
The reference circuit (lower left on attached file) shows a 3v3 voltage regulator just to provide the levels for STBY & MUTE.
As I don't want either function, can I discard (5 components) and use the onboard 3v3 regulator outputs on pins: 19 VDDPW, 26 VDDSor 36 VSS to hold them high?

VDDPW should do, however, you should check if this rail is available from start, otherwise the chip wont come up.
