The amp doesnt like a standard recitified feed from a transformer (with cap!) - so I guess a regulator of some kind?

Total current drawn: 0.5 A for two channels.

Indeed - sorry for the misunderstanding but Steve Clark agreed to creat a page for me with all my hi-fi goodies. Very kind of him! That is why I use it as my "homepage" - it is the only actual webpage with my goodies on so there you go...
