Hi,
Very quick and basic question about the miniDSP, is the following correct:
If I am using a miniDSP SHD with 2 inputs and 4 outputs, I can implement a 4 way crossover with mono outputs by routing both inputs to each output channel and then applying the crossover filters independently for each output channel?
Thanks

You would only route a single input, but yes. With only 4 output, you will cover on a single 4 way speaker, not a stereo pair. SHD is more geared towards room EQ and crossover between main speakers and subwoofer, or a 2-way stereo pair. Flex 8 would make the most sense for a 4 way stereo speaker.
Thanks for your reply, I was planning on using it at home for room EQ and 2 way stereo crossover but I was also planning on using it in a pro audio live situation as a crossover and limiter. In this situation I would be running everything mono. I know there are plenty of pro audio DSP devices but this would save me money over having two devices. Do you think it is suitable for this setting?
