Hi, is Mac OSX support still "coming soon"? That's the last update I was able to find from six months ago...
How about the "Advanced" plugin, is that available yet? Thanks.

Critofur,
Yes, Mac OS x is still coming soon.. As with any project, there are some unknown out of our control. Mac being one. Currently some miniDSP users enjoy miniDSP on their Mac as beta testers for the past few weeks now. Reason for the delay of community wide release is the need for a major modification on the development environment which has delayed all our progress for both Win and Mac environment. Getting closer by the day though...
As for the Advanced plug-in, it's been released for few weeks now, as already announced on this forum and available from the plug-in/store section of our site.

While waiting for an official answer, consider this:
And now for my questions.
- Is it possible to purchase the Ambio4YOU without the case?
- Can the Ambio4YOU send the output digitally to the MiniDSP? or the other way round - MiniDSP ouput over digital to Ambio4YOU?
Thank you.
Ambio4YOU is the sister company of DSP4YOU ltd
MiniDSP is the DIY brand of DSP4YOU Ltd

heheh.. you guys have a sharp eye for finding things online.. 🙂minidsp: are you related to the company producing the new ambio4you device?
We're indeed behind the Ambio4YOU device, a product developed in partnership with Ralph Glasgal, founding father of Ambiophonics.
We hope to see the ambiophonics community growing and enjoying benefits of the concept with this low cost processor. A tiny box providing all the required settings of RACE algorithms + a freeby of 4 PEQ per channel.
More info to follow in the next couple of weeks. Please use this thread for additional questions. Thanks.

Gooki,
To make sure we don't mix things up with miniDSP, please read our answer to your question in the Ambio4YOU thread.
Thanks.

I see the that for Ambio4YOU their is a case.
Do you have cases yet, for the miniDSP or amp?
We indeed have cases for the miniDSP for a quite a while now but no case for the amp.. Please have a look at our website for more info.
HI, I have tried to search the threads for MiniDSP if it's configurable with the Software SigmaStudio from ADI. Is it ?
Pretty sure it only works with the (very cost effective and flexible) software that minidsp sell
Check their site, bro

Nope it isn't configurable by ADI Sigmastudio.. it's been a question asked many times and there are many reasons behind it : non open source control used by ADI, tools used to generate Bin are under license, we're not ADI and don't have the resources to support a community of people asking questions on how to handle USB stack,...etc...etc.. etc.. 🙂
Can you provide an IDE for us to customize our code? | miniDSP
Hope this answers your question.

Is there an update yet?
The product brief says:
Control
• Software configurable
• Plug & Play USB driver
• WinXP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X compatible
Does that mean the configuration also goes on a MAC?
(The manual I found mentions the need to have a Windoze machine. . )
