No it just generate the FIR impulse response ( the Fir file the deconvolver use to treat the audio).
You don't need anything complicated: an audio editor/daw ( Wavelab, Reaper, Cubase,...) and the plug ins ( evaluation/cracked version can be found easily).
The Daw just need to be vst compatible.

I've used Reaper: https://www.reaper.fm/
with the ReEQ plugin: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=213501
to set up the crossover for a pair of LXmini and also some other speakers I was tinkering with at the time. I think the hardest part was figuring out the DAW that came with my sound card. The rest was relatively easy and it worked well.

Hi Tom,
REEQ is a parametric eq?
Then it won't work for Freedom666 ( if i understood correctly he wants to compensate group delay so it needs to perform in time domain, not freq).
That said i agree there is nothing to write a book about ( hardware setup can be more problematic imo).

Does anyone have experience with the MiniDSP / IcePower plate amps?

Build your own DSP unit with CamillaDSP running on a RaspberryPi and and an audio interface.

i use toneboosters eq and the dynamic eq from plugin alliance but there are many out there that do this. . not so sure about delay but it should be possible with something modular like unfiltered audio byomeWishniak, which dyn Eq please?
🙂
^ not to my knowledge nor experience with the dyn eq from plug alliance.
But i might be wrong.
To my knowledge only FIR can differenciate time domain and freq domain and treat independantly.

have to study the rephase website. so i can do it on a pc.
would like to have a fir app on the smartfone as i use this often as a music server.
i got a better soundig media player like fiio x3 but for that I would need recomputed wavfiles adapted to the loudspeakers. this would be elegant - just changing a 128gb sd card with all my music on it while switching between different eq ed loudspeakers
