main thing is , to reduce Iq - you need to increase source resistors value
with lesser rails and Iq , you can use TO220 mosfets , so lesser capacitance ...... but entire idea is worth if increased damping factor is not an issue for your needs

I don't know about using a TO220 as it's a lot harder to keep it cool. I think I looked it up once and it's about 4 or 5 times as hard to transfer 1 w of heat from a TO220 package than our standard TO3p package.
