Hi
I'm going to build a Mileva or a PAWO set of full range speakers using the FE127E drivers.
Whichever build I choose (not decided yet) I will want to add a suprabaffle. How do I work out how wide and deep I need to make it?
Thanks
Chris

Well, there's a story behind no particular fancy math involved in the dimensions of the suprabaffle for the Bamboo PAWO cabinets, but to condense it, the finished dimensions were 8" outside diameter, 1" thick ( to accommodate the large "fingernail" profile edge), with the driver mounted flush.
Whether you rebate the suprabaffle (which I did to recycle the cabinets after disappointing results with the CSS FR125 in this enclosure ) or mount it proud, remember to provide for plenty of breathing room behind the driver. I'd suggest beveling the rear of driver cutout on suprabaffle, and enlarging the hole on the enclosure to match the larger extent of that bevel.
FWIW, I found the Mileva a simpler build than the PAWO, and preferred its sonic performance as well.

Nice one, cheers Chris. I was going to use a piece of 6" cocobolo that I had lying around but think ill prob use something a bit bigger.
One thing, although you say plenty of breathing room the back of the drover still needs to be up firmly against the brace that you drill "semi-random" holes in, on the mileva?
